Four Sticks : Classic Rock Weekender New Cross Inn are well chuffed to bring you a weekend of live classic rock comprising of well known and the best up and coming bands in the genre. Times and Prices TBC FRIDAY HEADLINER: Diamond Head Teenagers Brian Tatler and Duncan Scott first started writing music together in Stourbridge in early 1976, with Brian on cheap fuzz guitar and Duncan playing drums on biscuit tins. Brian had a poster of an album by Phil Manzanera called Diamond Head that was released in 1975 and he thought “that would be a good name for the band”. The band is also one of a very small number of bands from that era to have remained a going concern over the intervening years, and to still record and appear live regularly. "There is no doubt the band takes their groovy Hard Rock very seriously though, because they are really good at what they do! Think Bon Scott era ACDC with a bit of Sleaze Metal thrown in and you have a pretty good idea as to what to expect in respect to Burnt Out Wreck’s style". https://www.facebook.com/BurntOutWreck https://www.burntoutwreck.com Any bands that would like to be considered for this then please email your links (NO Spotify, I-Tunes or the like) to foursticksclassicrock@gmail.com also mention your availability for each day please.
