Teenagers Brian Tatler and Duncan Scott first started writing music together in Stourbridge in early 1976, with Brian on cheap fuzz guitar and Duncan playing drums on biscuit tins. Brian had a poster of an album by Phil Manzanera called Diamond Head that was released in 1975 and he thought “that would be a good name for the band”.

Originally formed in 1973 by the Troy brothers, Tino and Chris, Praying Mantis became one of THE most influential bands of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). The band is also one of a very small number of bands from that era to have remained a going concern over the intervening years, and to still record and appear live regularly.

To Be Confirmed
Other bands confirmed so far:
Burnt Out Wreck
Gary Moat - the man at the back is now at the front!
"There is no doubt the band takes their groovy Hard Rock very seriously though, because they are really good at what they do! Think Bon Scott era ACDC with a bit of Sleaze Metal thrown in and you have a pretty good idea as to what to expect in respect to Burnt Out Wreck’s style".
Any bands that would like to be considered for this then please email your links (NO Spotify, I-Tunes or the like) to email@example.com also mention your availability for each day please.
