TARJA will soon release their Live-Art-Album/Live DVD "Act II". As a first taste of publishing and the Finnish exception of the singer, the Single "Love To Hate". It was also posted a Video which you can watch here:

"Love To Hate" was recorded live in the Studio

The live version of "Love To Hate" was recorded at Metropolis Studio in London, UK, and presented Tarja's known impressive vocal range and her flair for compositions. In London Tarja and the Band played in front of twenty selected winners from all over Europe. The Song "Love To Hate", originally from their Album "The Shadow Self", gives a taste of the upcoming live release and is only on the video version of "Act II". "Act II" appears on the 27. July 2018 at earMUSIC as a 2CD Digipak 3LP Gatefold, DVD, Blu-ray, Limited Mediabook 2CD+2BD and digital.

"Act II" is not a Live Album, but a Live-type Album

"Act II", the sequel to the live album "Act 1", is a combination of two different Live Performances on Video: The first Chapter of "Metropolis Alive" was two months before the release of Tarja's Album "The Shadow Self" (2016) in the intimate surroundings of the famous Metropolis Studios in London, UK.

The second Chapter of "Act II" was on the 29. November 2016 at the Teatro della Luna in Milan included, and includes a number of Songs from all four of the TARJA albums.

The singer is on record: "Live Videos were becoming more and more documentaries that focus on technical and distanced way, on the Performance of the Band. The light show and the led's support the Performance of the Band only, but they have no meaning. In "Act II" is different. Here, everything has a meaning, every little Detail is of great importance, because it is not only a Live-recording, a Live documentation.

In the Video of each Song was used to transport the feelings I wanted to bring live at the Show. I wanted to get as close as possible to the feeling of how the audience might have felt that evening.

We have used additional Material, video clippings used, photos, and graphics, as well as light and reflections, changing colours and moods created, distorted images and slides used. And sometimes, we have to maintain the pure image, because everything has to be transported, what we wanted to Express.

"Act II" is not a Live Video, it is a Live-type Video, and everyone is invited to discuss it controversial; this is exactly what I want."
