Andras (aka Moloc) (Vocals, All instruments [since 2003], Systematic Soul Deadening, ex-Dunkelfront), Dagon (Vocals [2003-2010]), Harbarth (Guitar [2003-2006])

INFESTUS was formed in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, in 2003.

After releasing a demo, the debut album and a split CD, guitarist Harbarth left INFESTUS in 2006 owing to a lack of time and devotion. Thereafter, Andras took over the whole instrumentation, whereas Dagon concentrated on vocals.

In 2008, they created the concept album "Chroniken des Ablebens", which was released by Debemur Morti Productions and received excellent reviews. After intonating the moment of dying and expanding these few seconds to the length of an album, Andras was driven by the idea of using his very personal experiences, having emerged from these abysmal depths.

He was determined to finally gain catharsis by creating "E x | I s t". In this process Dagon detached from the musical side of the entity INFESTUS, which then in the summer of 2010 forced them to determine that Andras had to go on alone by taking over the vocals.

At that time INFESTUS became Andras’ solo project in the very meaning of the word. In 2011 “E x | I s t” was born into this world through Debemur Morti Productions, receiving excellent critics throughout the music press.

Three years later, the critically acclaimed concept album “The Reflecting Void” was published (Debemur Morti Productions), dealing with the sensation of inner emptiness as a deceiving reflection which hides repressed truths. In that time Andras decided to bring INFESTUS to stage by establishing a live-lineup making it possible for him to perform as vocalist.

This undertaking was complicated by high fluctuation of musicians. Nevertheless, besides selected gigs INFESTUS also performed on festivals like Hellfest, Metalcamp, Dark Easter Metal Meeting and others.

Four years have passed since “The Reflecting Void” and Andras, still sole member, composer and performer on every instrument, sets to release the long awaited new album “Thrypsis” on October 5th, again in collaboration with Debemur Morti Productions..
