I did some time ago (1996), a similar Album called “Inspiration“, and there were Mascot, come to me and suggested that I do a Blues record make. (...) This is something the people do not recognize me – I have a strong interest in the Blues. As a Mascot came with the suggestion to me to make an Album with Songs in this style, it did not even bring me from the rest. In fact, it seemed so natural.“

The Album is self-produced, and MALMSTEEN has followed in the way it was recorded, a more traditional way. He says: "in the past, the Band went into the Studio, made a couple of Songs, then went on tour, before they returned to the Studio to make a few more new Tracks. So I have made things right this time. I was lately on the road so much that it is the more pragmatic was the most way to make the Album. Overall, I took about ten months to create it, but since I was between the tour operations in the Studio, I have the feeling that everything is kept fresh.“
