IRON MAIDEN have a new plane. For their world tour in 2016, the Metal upgraded-legends recently of a Boeing 757 to a larger and heavier Boeing 747. The new machine carries the name “Ed Force One” and was presented on Friday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It has a length of more than 70, and a wingspan of 64 meters. On Board is enough space for Band, Crew, Equipment and stage should be. The Pilot is, of course, Bruce Dickinson.

For her appearance at “Rock the light”Festival at the end of may in Dortmund, the Band will not be able to fly, however, the city's own airport. Due to the short runway only machines are allowed with a maximum weight of 100 tons of land. Had the Ruhr news recently reported.
