Guitarist Alex Lifeson Confirms: R40 Tour Was, For The Time Being The Last

Guitarist Alex Lifeson the canadian Prog legends RUSH have compared to the colleagues of the Rolling Stone confirmed that last year's R40 Tour for the time being, the last, long Tour of this kind.

Reason Drummer Neil Peart is. This extreme spending well before the Tour, the desire for more time with his family. Added to this is a painful, chronic Arthritis Suffering, which Peart also prevents physically to drive for longer trips.

Lifeson: "His shoulders were hurting, his arms were hurting, his elbows, his feet, everything. He didn't want to play anything less than 100 percent. He was finding it increasingly difficult to hit that mark on this last tour.”

Lifeson says that the future of the Band is open, and the Trio has yet to talk about possible future scenarios: "You never know. Maybe next event, or something like that, we'll plan something.“
