Legal Dispute Over Band Logo

December 12, 2014

The Bergen Panda bears of IMMORTAL will not be spaces for a change in the sample, Studios or on stage, meet – but in front of the court. As the Norwegian daily newspaper Dagbladet reported, there seems to be a dispute between Olve “Abbath” Eikemo and Harald “Demonaz” Nævdal and the (new, since “At The Heart Of Winter” is used) the Logo of the Band, for the Abbath with his company Eikemo Compositions a patent application has been submitted.

The Abbaths old comrades-in-arms Demonaz doesn't fit, of course, which is why this appeal has filed. The third of the trio, drummer Reidar “Horgh” Horghagen, has reported also a word and not supported by Demonaz in his request to leave Abbath the sole rights for the IMMORTAL Logo.

Demonaz is quoted with: “No comment.”

Abbath is quoted with: “No comment – at least not now.”

The process will be opened in early 2015 before a civil court.
