The Prog-Metal Supergroup, SONS OF APOLLO for the 17. January 2020 their new Album "MMXX" announced. Mike Portnoy, Derek Sherinian (both ex-DREAM THEATER), Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (ex-GUNS N' ROSES), Billy Sheehan (THE WINERY DOGS, MR. BIG), Soto/3180">Jeff Scott Soto (ex-JOURNEY, ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN'S RISING FORCE) want of her fine debut in "Psychotic Symphony" to tie in with and this, of course, yet to be topped. Or in the words of drum Jack Mike Portnoy to say: "Stylistically, we have the same direction as on the debut, but we have the feeling that the result have been greater, simply because we now know better. In the case of 'Psychotic Symphony' we have worked for five together for the first time, making the whole thing developed, inevitably, a more experimental character. Now we can not only draw on the experience of a jointly recorded album, but also on those of the common touring. And as a result, we have clearly developed a very special chemistry.“

In the face of the SONS OF APOLLO gathered musical and creative Talent, is likely to be the music, hopefully, something more exciting than the album title. This is based on the equally simple, unspannenden a fact that will be "MMXX" one of the first discs of the upcoming new decade and the musicians for this purpose, the Roman numerals appeared more sympathetic than the Arab. For the Cover Artwork by Thomas Ewerhard signed again responsible for the lines of the coat-of-arms motif of its predecessor and in a spacey, futuristic context:
