New Home Office Fresh Album
The Norwegian metallers KVELERTAK have brought a contract with the American Indie Label Rise Records in a dry cloth. In addition, a new Album is already waiting in the Pipeline, which will carry the title of "Splid", and on 14. February 2020, to appear. It is the Band's first Album with the new vocalist Ivar Nikolaisen, who joined in the year 2018, the Norwegian troop. To celebrate this news, the Band has released a brand new Song with the Namenm "Bråtebrann", you can here hear:
"We are thrilled that our upcoming Album "Splid" appears on Rise Records. We also look forward to in the future be a part of the Rise family,“ says the Band. ""Splid" (English: discord) deals with the Western self-indulgence and gluttony, our own stupidity, and the abyss on which the earth stands."
The Album was recorded with Kurt Ballou (including already EVERY TIME I die, DARKEST HOUR, CHELSEA WOLFE) at Godcity Studio in Salem, Massachusetts. The Band comments: "working with Kurt was a great experience and we are incredibly pleased with the production." More: "We have brought in the last twelve months of each other to our limits – musically, physically, and mentally. The result is an hour full of exciting Riffs, Punk Rock and Heavy Metal. All of this shaped by a world full of discord and conflicts that accompanied us on the way to Ragnarok.“
Known for earlier albums are completely in Norwegian, contains "Splid" some Tracks in English, including the song "Crack of Doom" with a guest musician Troy Sanders of MASTODON. We are excited and will keep you posted.
