To Terminate The First Album In Six Years
September 23, 2016

After six years, it is finally time again: The Death metallers WITCHERY for the 25. November, their sixth Album, “In His Infernal Majesty's Service” was announced. And there will be some new faces. Because Martin Axenrot and former DARK FUNERAL-singer Emperor Magus Caligula are out. “Martin's departure went alone because he is busy with his other musical projects. Caligula has left the Band due to a serious illness,” explains guitarist Jensen. Of the new additions, Chris Barkensjö (dr., CPI) and Angus Norder (v., NEKROKRAFT) he says: “they bring fresh blood and fresh ideas in the Band and you can clearly hear that you have done for us “old members” is necessary to grow a Tooth.”

These old members, Patrick Jensen (THE HAUNTED), Richard Rimfält (g. SEANCE) Sharlee D'angelo (b., ARCH ENEMY) will be able to celebrate with WITCHERY by the twentieth anniversary. It is, after all, been almost twenty years, as some members of SATANIC SLAUGHTER left and make it under the new name Blackenend Thrash Metal.

On the Album he expresses himself as follows: “I wanted to make an Album that raw than the Previous, even more raw than the debut. On a überproduziertes Album, I had absolutely no mood. Personally, I prefer planned rather albums, are more likely to be made intuitively, as down to the smallest Detail. The Album we recorded with Daniel Bergstrand in his Dug Out Studio in Uppsala, Sweden. Although he had already developed a certain reputation, I had to work before the opportunity with him. It is pretty great to work with him. He is a great guy and understood me immediately, as I told him what I have in mind for the Album. I think that Daniel has done a great Job and I think he “puts In His Infernal Majesty's Service” on one of the front seats on its list of albums on which he has worked.”

Jensen is with the Artwork by Andreas Diaz Pettersson “very satisfied and we find that the Cover is a good addition to the overall massive quality, we believe that the Album has.”
