UPDATE: Permanent Placed On Ice, And Statements Published
A month after AGALLOCH has surprisingly been put on ice, the founder of the band John Haughm and guitarist Don Anderson delivered independently of each other for billboard.com Statements relating to the decommissioning of the Band, which is regarded as permanent. The Following is just a teaser of the conflict, which contributed, ultimately, to the disintegration of the Band:
Anderson's Profession as a College teacher, he since 2014 engaged in and for which he in New York (“it started to really take a downturn in 2014 when Don moved to New York to be a full-time professor“, Haughm), was not that he was in the dimensions of the tape of life could attend, as Haughm of the presented had, according to Anderson, in turn, with AGALLOCH a living earned (“It was a substantial income for him, relied on it to pay the bills“, Anderson).
Haughm himself saw in the Band according to own data more than that (“everything in my life revolves around music and Agalloch was at the forefront of importance“, Haughm) and it was, therefore, frustrated to have been that the rest of the band members is less and less time for AGALLOCH had (“I had grown incredibly tired of waiting around for them to be available to record or tour, and they recently told me that they wanted to slow things down even more“, Haughm), which as far as went, according to Haughm no one is interested, something the 20-year anniversary of the band (“They didn't even want to do anything for the 20th anniversary of the band! That was a huge disappointment“, Haughm), which is also his original intention, AGALLOCH continue, could explain.
In this connection, says Anderson, it seemed, the friendship between him and Haughm to change (“I said, ‘We're friends first, a band second’“, Anderson), the Band is no longer as a Band but as a Business has and the separation, according to Anderson, as a result, as a business motivated decision was made (“I don’t blame him, but it was a business, professional decision, and I think as best friends who go way back we were hurt by that“, Anderson). For Haughm be the reasons, however a more personal nature (“[The anniversary tour] would've been a great treat for the fans and a nice way to toast 20 years as a band. Don and Jason both voiced their disinterest and wanted to take this year off. That was the final straw for me“, Haughm).

(Michael Klaas)Update 15. May 2016:
After there were apparently a number of letters, has discovered AGALLOCH-the founder of the band (and last remaining member) John Haughm once again. About the official Facebook page of the Band posted the following, additional Statement:
“After I was flooded by a torrent of responses, I find that I need to clarify a few things. I take full responsibility for the decision to go with the other separate ways. It was hard, but well thought out and something that has brewed over the last couple of years. I just couldn't make the Band, as it was. I had to make a change because my Motivation and Inspiration started to decay completely. Whether this is a long-term end of AGALLOCH, or a possible new beginning, I do not know. I won't know probably for a while. The Band has just been the first Time in 20 years to their founder, are reduced. For everything else, the future is unknown.
– J. Haughm”
AGALLOCH mastermind John Haughm and his bandmates Don Anderson, Jason William Walton, and Aesop Dekker will go in future separate ways. The Band from Portland, Oregon, has just announced on their Facebook Channel, is the musical future of each of the parties is uncertain. By a resolution, no direct speech is, however, the final lines of the statement are to be trimmed quite a farewell. Fixed: AGALLOCH will no longer exist in their previous Form.
The Statement in the text:
“Following 20 years, 5 full-length albums, many tours around the world, and numerous other recordings, John Haughm and the rest of the band (Don Anderson, Jason Walton, and Aesop Dekker) have parted ways. What the future holds for the separate parties remains undetermined. We collectively thank all of our fans across the world. There are also way too many other people to thank who made this band possible. You know who you are.”
In her 20-year career with five Studio albums, brought AGALLOCH on the market. The last was published in the year 2014 under the title “The Serpent & The Sphere“. In particular, however, the in 2002 published “The Mantle” is considered to be style-defining and setting the direction for any Post-Rock/Black-Metal-Blends of the following decade. Like no other Band AGALLOCH are decisive for the establishment of the so-called Post-Black-metal responsible. Your legacy is barely measurable, you will resonate to Create a long years.
